Congrats top-3.

My race was totally destroyed on first lap and I don’t know what I could have done to avoid it. Firstly someone lost control on chicane, spun and hitted me so I dropped to last places. And then driver ahead of me just decided to stop his car on last corner. He done full braking and stopped car on racing line in the end of corner, which I don’t understand. There was no chance for me to survive.

After I repaired car, I was already over lap behind most of the drivers and it was difficult because I had to overtook some drivers, who were lap ahead. I was happy with race pace on 2nd stint and I recovered to points but then tire broke down and I lost much time. Ended up to 10th place, which is at least better than nothing but still it was quite painful race for me.

I first struggled in Q1 to get in the top 10, which I eventually made... And qualified surprisingly 2nd. Start was not the best I ever had, and I lost one position to Pete. Later I managed to pass him but was not consistant enough. Although I stopped quite some laps after Sabrekov (sorry, don't know your first name), I rejoined behind him. Then Pete passed again after his pit stop. I was 3rd at this time, when 2nd stops occured. I had like 10 laps to do after Pete's stop, but a puncture failed me... Massive disappointment, and then I spin, losing 3rd place to Anton. I end up 4th, very disappointed cause I lacked some luck and constitency.

I should've been nowhere near top 3 today, but (un)fortunately Redline racing guys managed to mess their races up quite a bit which gave me rare ticket to collect the prize. Could have gone for pole position in Q1 actually but i had to focus on race setup after Naselli gave me his one about an hour before race beginning (i had to drop oversteer off though i dont think he had done full stint with it, or then again im just a bad driver). I want to give him credit for this finish, i wouldnt be close to this position without his knowledge.

Moving on, managed to qualify up in front and then continue with the leading pack immediately after start, the guy behind me, i think Barnick wasnt so fortunate and ended up losing his chances for great finish right in the start. And ofcourse Stuart taking his Drive through but i think he wanted to experience what it feels like to lead a few laps in the best league

Anyway, some great racing with Quentin, Pete and Turunen. Sabrekov was amazingly quick once again, he took off right from start. Big challenge today was the rear right suspension when trying to push because you go over the chicane and it causes big damage. I reviewed replay at some point of race and noticed Mullog doesnt get any damage, super setup and great racing line must've been there. I usually do some stupid mistake in race which costs me high finish but not this time, every BF1 race i've taken part this year had potential to be great success but no stability meant no finish at the front. Today finally paid off even though at expense of Redline guys, nonetheless i am happy with this result and hoping to improve next time again.

@kevin : making a protest for me not letting you pass whereas you blocked me for half a lap before that when you were blue flagged, is particularly ridiculous and non sense.
